Job summary

TYLin in the United States seeks an exceptional Program Director, Aviation (MEP) to lead a multi-billion-dollar terminal redevelopment program within its Aviation team. You will oversee planning, design, and construction of critical mechanical, electrical and plant infrastructure systems for one of the world’s busiest hubs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading major airport infrastructure or terminal redevelopment programs.
• Significant experience delivering large-scale Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, P3 or other alternative delivery projects.
• Strong understanding of central utility plants, mechanical systems, heating, refrigeration, electrical infrastructure or related building services.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and multiple consulting and construction partners.
• Outstanding leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated success managing complex budgets, schedules, risk and program delivery.
• Ability to lead within highly regulated, operational airport environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for planning, coordination and delivery of major MEP initiatives supporting terminal redevelopment.
• Oversee decommissioning of existing central utility infrastructure and delivery of new state-of-the-art systems.
• Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams and coordinate consultants and contractors across all program phases.
• Maintain trusted relationships with senior client representatives and executive stakeholders.
• Oversee program governance, risk management, scheduling, commercial oversight and quality management.
• Coordinate multiple partners across a large, integrated program and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Drive collaboration between designers, constructors and client teams to achieve outcomes.
• Provide leadership throughout procurement, design development, construction and commissioning.
