Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Program Director – Airport Terminals to lead planning, design and delivery of major terminal redevelopment programs. You will serve as the primary executive interface with airport owners, design partners, contractors and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of aviation infrastructure leadership, a track record with Design-Build/CMAR/P3, and the ability to manage large, multi-workstream capital programs across the US or internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience delivering major aviation infrastructure projects.
• Leadership of large airport terminal design programs within the United States or internationally.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Proven ability to oversee large capital programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with airport authorities, owners, executive leadership, and major program stakeholders.
• Thorough understanding of airport planning, terminal design, passenger experience, and operational requirements.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods including Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMAR, or P3.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of major airport terminal design and redevelopment programs.
• Serve as the primary executive interface with airport owners, program management teams, and key stakeholders.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, planners, and consultants.
• Develop program execution strategies balancing cost, schedule, quality and risk.
• Provide executive oversight through planning, design, procurement and construction support phases.
• Manage governance, reporting and executive communications.
• Guide technical decisions balancing operations and passenger experience priorities.
• Coordinate with design-build, CMAR, and P3 delivery partners.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for large programs.
