Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Front-Line Leader to guide daily production activities for the FLRAA program, driving safety, quality and performance in a high‑tempo aerospace environment.

This onsite role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to implement procedures, manage resources, and sustain continuous improvement with TAKT and earned hours metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of production/manufacturing supervisory experience in airframe and structural assembly.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed.
• Experience directing daily manufacturing activities of employees within an area.
• Excellent oral and written communication with a strong sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; 3DX/SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.
• Develop and implement procedures and standard work; drive process improvements.
• Operate in a matrix environment with collaboration across functions.
• Ensure compliance with protocols (tool calibration, training and qualification).
• Coordinate with maintenance and facilities to submit and complete work orders.
• Discipline employees when necessary; drive accountability using metrics (TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead).
