Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or 4+ years of related experience with a HS diploma.
• 3 years in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• Advanced modeling/tools knowledge (PROMODEL/ARENA) or Matlab/R/Python.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Ability to influence others and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Use modeling/forecasting to analyze schedules and recommend changes
• Apply analytical techniques to identify operational improvements
• Conduct simulation modeling and statistical analyses for capacity assessments
• Propose new processes using Six Sigma, modeling, and discrete event simulation
• Extract, transform, and analyze data with SQL, Python, Excel for stakeholder insights
• Build business cases and forecast benefits for initiatives
• Perform time studies to establish operational standards
• Lead cross-department teams to define and improve processes
• Identify improvement opportunities using process mapping and data collection
• Develop project timelines and manage stakeholder relationships
• Support department strategy while considering impacts elsewhere
• Mentor junior engineers and co-ops
• Other duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant field

Advanced level of statistical, modeling (Matlab, R, or Python)

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
