Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on practical experience in aviation maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in powerplant systems, including engine inspection and testing.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with a focus on patient and student development.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate comprehensive instruction on reciprocating and turbine engine systems, including fuel metering, ignition, and lubrication.
• Deliver hands‑on demonstrations that bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world engine troubleshooting.
• Drive student success by providing expert guidance on engine overhaul procedures and complex system diagnostics.
• Collaborate with academic leadership to refine curriculum, ensuring training materials remain aligned with current industry standards.
• Cultivate a culture of safety by enforcing rigorous maintenance protocols and best practices in every lab session.
• Mentor students through technical projects, fostering critical thinking and professional problem‑solving capabilities.
