Thrust Institute of Maintenance is seeking a qualified Airframe and Powerplant Instructor to join our faculty. You will teach aviation maintenance theory and hands-on labs, guiding students through practical competencies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include delivering clear lessons, developing assessments, and updating curriculum. The role supports diverse learning modalities, including online, remote, and on-site instruction, with an emphasis on real-world aviation proficiency.

Qualifications

• Three years of proven aviation maintenance experience across GA/Part 121/135/145
• Hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
• Computer literacy for classroom and lab instruction

Responsibilities

• Deliver clear instructional content and foster an effective learning environment
• Design and implement diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments
• Develop and update department curriculum to stay current with pedagogy and industry
• Maintain office hours, submit grades on time, and manage classroom facilities
• Adapt teaching modalities to online, remote, in-person, and hybrid formats
