Job summary

Woolpert seeks an Aviation Planning Project Manager to join our Aviation National team. The role covers master plans, airport layout plans, and site development, with emphasis on AAM and emerging technology. Travel to client sites and Woolpert offices is required.

The successful candidate will lead planning activities, develop client relationships, and drive profitable growth through innovative aviation solutions and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of 5+ years’ of related work experience.
• Aviation Subject Matter Expertise in one or more areas: Airport Layout Plans, Airport Master Plans, instrument approaches, pavements, facility planning studies, or site development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on innovative technology and content; help them plan implement migration strategies.
• Lead airport planning and design activities on master plans and airport layout plans for clients.
• Understand clients' business and collaborate with National Aviation Services Operations to achieve goals.
• Support pipeline growth for Aviation Planning and AAM services by pursuing new opportunities and partnerships.
• Lead proposals, shortlists, and white papers; participate in client contract negotiations.
• Provide quality reviews of project documentation from work plans to final deliverables.
