Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Aviation / AAM Planner to lead traditional airport planning and emerging Advanced Air Mobility initiatives in the U.S. The role focuses on vertiport feasibility, airspace planning, and integration of cutting-edge aviation technologies, while maintaining strong NEPA compliance and project leadership.

You will guide complex projects, engage with clients, regulators, and industry partners, and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or similar program.
• 10+ years of experience with airport planning projects.
• Experience providing AAM planning services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NEPA regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Project management experience.
• Demonstrated business and client development experience.
• Deltek Vision experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for AAM planning efforts.
• Lead vertiport feasibility studies, airport compatibility assessments, and infrastructure planning for AAM.
• Monitor FAA guidance and industry trends; translate into planning strategies.
• Represent the firm at conferences, committees, and workshops as an AAM thought leader.
• Develop airport master plans, CIP management, and airport layout plan revisions.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and manage project schedules and costs.
• Review work for compliance with program requirements and environmental considerations.
• Collaborate with business development to support project capture planning.
