Job summary

Egis seeks a Senior Aviation / AAM Planner to lead advanced airport planning and emerging AAM initiatives. You will guide traditional airport planning while expanding AAM services for airports, public agencies, and private partners, combining technical excellence with business development.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, client engagement, and preparation of planning studies using AutoCAD, GIS, and related tools within a collaborative, global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or similar program.
• 10+ years of experience with airport planning projects.
• Experience providing AAM planning services.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with NEPA regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Project Management experience and client development experience.
• Deltek Vision Project Management Software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, technical leadership, and subject matter expertise for AAM.
• Lead vertiport feasibility studies and airport infrastructure planning.
• Monitor FAA guidance and industry trends and translate into planning strategies.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, committees, and client workshops.
• Develop airport master plans, CIP management, and updates to layout plans.
• Plan, supervise, and review work of subconsultants and manage project schedules.
