Job summary

Global Crossing Airlines, based in Miami, seeks a senior Flight Operations Performance Engineer to lead engineering-driven improvements in fuel efficiency, weight & balance, ACARS data utilization, and EFB governance. The role owns the EFB program lifecycle and interfaces with vendors and data platforms.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with operational data, fuel performance, and FAA regulatory compliance, and can drive cross-functional initiatives across flight operations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Aerospace/Systems/Engineering/CS).
• 7+ years in airline operations with progression in performance engineering or tech leadership.
• Hands-on ACARS configuration, data extraction, and integration.
• Experience with aviation fuel efficiency programs using FOQA/FDM data.
• FAA EFB program experience under Part 121/135 and regulatory workflows.
• Strong vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the airline's operations performance engineering function end-to-end.
• Liaise with operational technology vendors and manage integrations.
• Lead fuel efficiency engineering and performance modeling initiatives.
• Oversee Weight & Balance systems and regulatory validation.
• Manage ACARS infrastructure, data utilization, and analytics.
• Develop dashboards and perform root cause analyses of deviations.
• Pilot and integrate new operational technologies with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Safety, Maintenance, and Flight Operations for SMS.
