Job summary

Textron's Bell Training Academy in Fort Worth, TX is offering a 10-week Summer Internship in Business Operations. Interns will support aircraft readiness for training events, modernize inventory control, and help plan maintenance workflows.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Aviation Management, Aviation Maintenance Management, Aviation Safety and Operations, Project Management or related degree
• Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience
• Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1- August 6, 2027
• 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred
• Preference will be given to candidates that are rising junior classification

Responsibilities

• Interface with the pilot and maintenance staff to drive aircraft operational readiness for customer flight training events
• Modernize tool and inventory control systems to ensure compliant processes and safety procedures are fully implemented
• Organize and proactively plan work flows for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities
• Collaborate with dispatching and Bell network sites to address urgent part needs and shortages
• Evaluate and recommend facility improvements, floor plans, and hangar design layouts for improved operations
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and opportunities to improve team and process efficiency
