Job summary

Textron offers a paid, full-time 10-week summer internship in Fort Worth, TX, focused on Business Operations within aviation. You will work with a team to support aircraft readiness, maintenance planning, and inventory/mis­sion control improvements while gaining real project experience.

The program emphasizes mentorship, hands-on tasks, and opportunities to contribute to ongoing operations. Preference for students pursuing aviation-related degrees and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or higher with an Aviation-related major.
• 60 college credit hours by start date (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience.
• Complete the full 10 weeks (June 1–August 6, 2027).
• GPA 3.0 minimum; undergraduate GPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with pilot and maintenance staff to drive aircraft readiness for customer flight training events.
• Modernize tool and inventory control systems to ensure compliant processes and safety procedures.
• Organize and proactively plan workflows for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with dispatching and Bell network sites to address urgent part needs.
• Evaluate facility improvements and hangar layouts for improved operations.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve team and process efficiency.
