Job summary

Textron's Bell Training Academy in Fort Worth offers a 10-week Summer Intern program focused on Business Operations. You will support production readiness, workflow planning, and process improvements while gaining hands-on experience on real projects.

You’ll work with pilots, maintenance staff, and dispatch teams, leveraging MS Office tools, and building skills in aviation operations, planning, and problem-solving. This on-site internship is based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Aviation Management or related field.
• Minimum 60 college credits completed by start of internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience.
• Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1– August 6, 2027.
• 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with pilot and maintenance staff to drive aircraft operational readiness for customer flight training events.
• Modernize tool and inventory control systems to ensure compliant processes and safety procedures are fully implemented.
• Organize and proactively plan work flows for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with dispatching and Bell network sites to address urgent part needs and shortages.
• Evaluate and recommend facility improvements, floor plans, and hangar design layouts for improved operations.
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and opportunities to improve team and process efficiency.

Day in the Life of a Business Operations Intern

We are looking for curious, adaptable, and self‑driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Aviation Management, Aviation Maintenance Management, Aviation Safety and Operations, Project Management or related degree required
• Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience.
• Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1– August 6, 2027
• 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred

Preference will be given to candidates that are rising junior classification
