Job summary

FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking a 3rdShift Operations Manager at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) to lead safety, scheduling, staffing, and quality control for aircraft cleaning and line services. The role emphasizes cost management and strong client communication, with a weekly schedule covering 7 days and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and twisting.
• Cleaning to a high level of detail up to 8 hours per day.
• Medically cleared to operate heavy machinery and perform all physical work.
• The candidate needs to be excellent at communication and available by a cell phone with a consistent number 24/7.
• The candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
• Pass a basic background check
• Passing a drug screening

Responsibilities

• Lead cabin cleanings to a very high level of detail in the cockpit, galley, lavatory, and passenger seating area
• Cleaning the exteriors of aircraft, sometimes outside and in inclement weather
• Some locations are required to clean facilities to a high level of detail
• Ensuring quality control by performing cabin walks on every aircraft to the checklist standard
• Organizing the team to maximize each labor hours and clean most effectively
• As the work is going on, ensure safety is upheld to the highest standards
• Maintain cost metrics and paperwork to ensure profitability and compliance
• Ensure a weekly and monthly staff schedule (from 5 to 15 team members) which aligns with labor metrics
• Keep full records of badging complaints with airport rules and fill out HIT forms as hazards are identified
• Complete online forms and upload signed do lists throughout the night
• Take stock inventory and place orders with the logistics manager
• Build a rock steady team with daily communication and development plans for each member
• Train team members in quality work, checklist use, and safety
• Work with back office to post ads, interview and hire based on values
• Complete disciplinary forms and advocate for raises
• Maintain company vehicle and upload receipts in Divvy
