Job summary

Bombardier Transportation is seeking an Operations Supervisor (7500) to lead maintenance teams at Learjet Inc., Tucson. You will supervise daily aircraft maintenance activities, enforce safety, and coordinate unscheduled work across locations while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience, 2+ years of supervisory duties, and an A&P/FAR65 credential. Strong leadership, planning and communication skills are essential for success in this position in

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft heavy/line maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience (aircraft maintenance preferred).
• A&P certificate or FAR part 65 certification required.
• Knowledge of FAR parts 91, 121, 135 and 145.
• Knowledge of jet aircraft maintenance inspection programs.
• Knowledge of EH&S rules as they apply to maintenance operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead and coach a team.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload; strong organizational skills.
• Experience with maintenance systems like SAP, Pivotal and Autotime is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements.
• Supervise safety/security program; oversee audits and housekeeping.
• Lead staffing decisions: hires, reviews, training, schedules, and leave.
• Coordinate unscheduled maintenance at other locations.
• Ensure work complies with Repair Station/Quality Manual and FARs.
• Manage resources to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Request engineering support as needed for operations.
• May act on behalf of Customer Project Manager when required.
• Support UMT: tooling, parts, scheduling, and return-to-service activities.
• Administer team policies and timekeeping; manage shop floor issues.
• Facilitate DMM meetings with departments; maintain collaboration.
• Monitor housing and facilities for regulatory compliance.
• Identify best practices and drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Enter SAP Work Orders and BAS network data; generate BAS reports.
