Job summary

Delta Air Lines is offering a Summer 2027 internship with our Network Scheduling team in Atlanta. You will coordinate flight schedules, align aircraft to demand, and analyze operational constraints to ensure reliability.

Ideal interns will have strong analytical and communication skills, be pursuing an undergrad degree with a 3.0+ GPA, and be able to work full-time on-site May through August 2027. Prior airline knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree.
• At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
• Available to work full-time for Summer 2027 (May–August).
• Must be able to work onsite in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and development of Delta's flight schedule.
• Align aircraft to demand while analyzing operational constraints.
• Ensure schedules meet maintenance, slot, curfew, and performance requirements.
• Implement holiday and day-of-week adjustments; manage charter flights.
• Review proposed schedule with stakeholders and make necessary changes.
• Fine-tune schedule for operational reliability.
