The Aviation NDT Level III / Chief Inspector is a technical, quality, and regulatory leadership position supporting PROtect’s Aviation Services Division and FAA Part 145 Repair Station. The role combines NAS 410 Level III technical authority with Chief Inspector responsibility to provide a single point of accountability for Aviation NDT technical compliance and Repair Station inspection oversight. The position is focused specifically on Aviation NDT operations involving UT, ET, PT, and VT rather than broad industrial NDT disciplines. Primary emphasis is on personnel qualification, procedure development, technical interpretation, quality compliance, FAA Part 145 readiness and continued compliance, and supporting safe and compliant aircraft inspection activities. Routine workforce scheduling and daily production management remain operational responsibilities.
