FedEx is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Williston, VT to perform safe, efficient turbine aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting at multiple MX locations. You will execute planned and unplanned tasks per manuals, communicate exceptions promptly, and maintain write-ups for the flight schedule.
The role requires a current A&P license, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid non-restricted driver’s license, with at least 36 months of turbine aircraft experience exceeding 12,500
Job Duties
Provide safe and efficient maintenance, including repair, engine run, taxi and troubleshooting aircraft at various MX locations as assigned to minimize delays, cancellations, and OOS impacts. Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks in accordance with the appropriate Manuals. Communicate exceptions as they occur and create accurate and complete write-ups with all inputs in a timely manner. Additionally, when there is no manager or lead onsite, to accept the daily work release plan. Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED Current A&P Licenses required. Valid non-restricted driver’s license from the state of residence
Thirty-six (36) months aircraft maintenance experience on turbine powered Aircraft that exceed 12500 lbs. MEW. Previous experience does not include A&P school and training.
FAA covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. A valid non-restricted driver license from the state of residence is required.
The desired location for this position would be Williston, VT. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
Pay: $51.56 -$55.76

Actual pay is determined by several job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, including, but not limited to, experience relative to the job, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment. In California, the compensation listed reflects the range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position upon hire. In New Jersey, any compensable Security and Walk time will be paid to non-exempt/hourly employees at the state minimum wage.
