Federal Express Corporation is hiring for an aircraft maintenance position in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role requires providing safe and efficient aircraft maintenance, including repairs and troubleshooting at various locations. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma and current A&P Licenses, along with at least 36 months of relevant experience.
The position is FAA-covered and involves responsibilities such as executing maintenance tasks, working in high-pressure environments, and maintaining safety standards. Willingness to work five days a week at FedEx location is essential.
Provide safe and efficient maintenance, including repair, engine run, taxi, and troubleshooting of aircraft at various maintenance locations as assigned to minimize delays, cancellations, and OOS impacts. Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks in accordance with the appropriate manuals. Communicate exceptions as they occur and create accurate and complete write-ups with all inputs in a timely manner. Additionally, when there is no manager or lead onsite, accept the daily work release plan. Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED. Current A&P Licenses required. Valid non-restricted driver’s license from the state of residence.
Thirty‑six (36) months aircraft maintenance experience on turbine‑powered aircraft that exceed 12 500 lbs. MEW. Previous experience does not include A&P school and training.
FAA‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine, and opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. A valid non‑restricted driver license from the state of residence is required.
Desired location: Indianapolis, Indiana. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
