Job summary

AAR Corp seeks an experienced Aviation Maintenance Manager to oversee MRO project planning, execution, and delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure safety standards, and coordinate hangar operations to meet customer expectations.

You will drive project objectives, manage resources, and report progress to management while maintaining regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Education/experience requirements as listed in Job Description.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
• Eight years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) projects to ensure on-time delivery.
• Define project objectives and system development requirements; develop detailed project plans with tasks, milestones, and resources.
• Select project team members based on competencies; provide technical leadership and support to drive outcomes.
• Maintain profitability and KPI targets across work packages; ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate hangar operations, resource management, and workflow execution.
• Communicate with airline customer representatives; address needs beyond standard hours when required.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and administrative duties related to project performance and compliance.

Education

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from a four-year college or university
