Job summary

AAR Corp is seeking a Project Manager to oversee weekend operations, ensuring projects and staffing run smoothly while serving as the main contact for issues that arise.

You will lead weekend teams, monitor progress, coordinate staffing, and work with cross-functional groups to meet production and customer needs. Strong aviation maintenance background and proven leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Eight years of aviation maintenance experience with at least two years in management.
• Airframe & Powerplant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee weekend operations to ensure project and production goals are achieved.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for weekend employees, leadership, and operational issues.
• Monitor project progress, address challenges, and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate staffing, resources, and priorities to meet customer and business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to weekday leadership teams.
• Support cross-functional collaboration between Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Human Resources.
• Track performance metrics and prepare summaries of weekend activities and results.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to weekend personnel.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency.
