Job summary

Cutter Aviation in Addison, TX seeks an experienced MRO General Manager to lead maintenance operations, ensure FAA compliance, and deliver world-class service to general aviation customers. You will drive profitability, mentor technicians, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet financial and quality targets.

You will oversee project scoping, scheduling, and customer communications while maintaining safety standards and regulatory requirements across maintenance programs and facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory or managerial experience in a FBO or aviation service center environment.
• Proven skills in developing and maintaining customer relationships
• Strong customer-centric mindset with ability to translate customer needs into profitable solutions
• High degree of technical knowledge with respect to FARs and aircraft inspection programs
• Knowledge of Pilatus, Piper product lines preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• MS Excel and Word proficiency
• Experience with aviation software platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance department activities to meet financial targets.
• Assist customers in defining work-scope and direct teams to ensure project success.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility for the operation.
• Hire, train, and develop technician staff.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Management Systems and FAA documentation requirements.
• Maximize cash cycle from sales order to invoice payment.
• Interface with Marketing to drive high-value solutions and market penetration.
• Meet customer satisfaction objectives: On-Time, On-Budget, Completed Right the First Time.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Warranty, and other corporate functions.
• Prepare annual budget aligned with company objectives.
