Job summary

Textron is offering a Summer Internship in Wichita, KS, focused on modification engineering documentation to support FAA certification for Textron Aviation Propeller and Jet aircraft models. You will work on installation drawings, wiring diagrams, and modification instructions under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Eligibility requires pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical installations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Customer Service and Service Center personnel.
• Review modification requests and ensure they meet customer needs and certification requirements.
• Develop detailed modification installation procedures.
• Create installation drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Use CATIA and Capital to define modification details.
