Job summary

RTX is seeking an Implementation Lead for Collins Aerospace’s Messaging Implementation Engineering team. You will implement, modify, configure, test, and document airline middleware messaging connections and routing between Collins CAS services and customer end systems.

You will work with Engineering Manager, Program Management, and customers across disciplines, configuring Java/JavaScript apps, managing global deployments, and providing technical guidance to sales and service delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with messaging systems and airline operational messaging.
• Project management skills and customer-facing experience.
• Ability to work with internal/external customers and meet deadlines.
• Experience in an international, cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure software applications and services using Java/JavaScript.
• Lead and manage multiple global customer implementation projects.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide written responses to questions.
• Advise internal teams on technical matters and solutions.
• Collaborate with customers during troubleshooting and service delivery.
• Maintain strong organizational skills to handle varied workloads.
• Apply analytical thinking to assess issues and identify solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
