Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years in aviation maintenance and related hands-on experience.
• Three years of teaching experience, with preference for AIM campus.
• Strong administration and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the Aviation Maintenance program, including supervision of faculty and staff and performing administrative functions related to daily operations.
• Assist in curriculum development, class scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Conduct faculty meetings and participate in professional development and seminars.
• Assist in staff hiring, disciplinary actions, and onboarding.
• Provide advisory support to students and monitor academic progress.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain current syllabi and textbooks.
• Monitor student performance and manage program resources and safety compliance.
