Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift at our East Alton, IL facility. You will perform mechanical work, troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and assist with inspections, engine work, and ground operations.

Strong team collaboration and FAA-compliant practices are required. Ideal candidates hold an Airframe or Powerplant license with 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I, or more for higher levels, and a valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred for AMT I.
• 0–2 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; progressively more for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove/install panels and components; troubleshoot system issues.
• Assist in engine removals/installations and ground operations.
• Inspect aircraft and components; assist performance runs and taxiing.
• Maintain shop facilities and tools; follow FAA guidelines.
