Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Gulfstream Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in East Alton, IL. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic tasks on Gulfstream aircraft, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Role involves troubleshooting, parts replacement, inspections, and collaboration with teammates to ensure safety and compliance. A valid airframe or powerplant license and relevant experience are required, with progression through

Qualifications

Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred.
0-2 years aviation maintenance experience (AMT I).
2-4 years aviation maintenance experience (AMT II).
4-6+ years aviation maintenance experience (AMT III).
6+ years aviation maintenance experience (AMT IV Master).

Responsibilities

Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
Removal and installation of panels and components.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
De-fueling aircraft.
Engine removal/installations.
Operating ground support equipment.
Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
Aircraft movement and taxiing assistance.
Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
Communicate effectively in English.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
