Job summary

West Star Aviation in Grand Junction, CO seeks a results-driven Manager to lead the Project Manager, Shift Manager and technician teams in a fast-paced hangar environment, ensuring on-time, squawk-free customer service while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will drive continuous improvement, develop best practices, manage staffing and training, coordinate with departments, and communicate status at customer meetings; a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Aircraft Maintenance with management experience leading operations
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cost control
• LEAN, Six Sigma and 5S experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Manager, Shift Manager and technicians to ensure on-time, squawk-free customer service while adhering to safety and regulatory standards
• Hire, assess and develop staff; plan training and optimize workforce
• Coordinate workflow from pre-planning to aircraft delivery; communicate status in meetings
• Develop and implement best practices; drive continuous improvement and profitability
• Interact with departments and customers to ensure smooth operations and project success
