West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician for our Grand Junction, CO site. You will lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality, timely results with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficient workflow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, an Airframe & Powerplant license, 8+ years in aviation maintenance, and 4+ years in program-specific airframes, with proven leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and A&P license.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred.
• 4+ years in program-specific airframes.
• Supervise multiple technicians and lead tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete jobs and manage day-to-day tasks.
• Turnover work to the next shift effectively.
• Identify opportunities to reduce aircraft turn time.
• Train and mentor technicians on projects.
• Supervise daily workload and ensure quality.
• Perform mechanical work on aircraft and systems.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems as needed.
• Ensure FAA paperwork and compliance.
