Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Manager (Aviation Production Control) to lead daily operations for maintenance of facilities, equipment, and machinery in a high‑stakes aviation environment. You will direct technical teams, ensure safety and SOP adherence, and coordinate maintenance planning across site operations.

The role requires a strong technical background, leadership in fast‑paced settings, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Ten years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Five years of supervisory experience.
• Three years of US Army aviation maintenance experience.
• Two years of US Army aviation maintenance supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of facilities, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate flow of maintenance and supervise status reporting.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and capital expenditures.
• Assign and coordinate work of maintenance staff and vendors.
• Establish safety training and ensure compliance with SOPs and manuals.
