Job summary

Boeing in Seattle is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Scheduler to manage fleet-wide forecasts, develop line and base maintenance work packages, and ensure routing per plan. You will coordinate recovery for disruptions, attend meetings, and guarantee compliance with maintenance programs and safety standards while balancing production and cost efficiency.

Required: 2+ years scheduling, 3+ years maintenance, familiarity with My Boeing Fleet, AD/SB knowledge, ATA systems, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• 2+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance scheduling.
• 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance and repair computer applications such as My Boeing Fleet.
• Knowledge of maintenance program theory and standard practices (AMM, MPD, Task cards).
• Experience with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs).
• Knowledge of ATA aircraft systems and equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fleet-wide aircraft maintenance forecasts and schedules for a specified operator and/or single aircraft type.
• Creates and issues aircraft-specific work packages at the line and base maintenance levels.
• Validates aircraft, parts and materials are scheduled and routed per plan.
• Reconciles maintenance plans to accommodate operational events.
• Monitors operational activities and aircraft on the ground maintenance events.
• Coordinates recovery plans for operational disruptions due to scheduled maintenance activities.
• Plans/attends/facilitates meetings to communicate scheduled maintenance requirements.
• Ensures all scheduled maintenance program instructions, work documents, and control procedures are developed and administered in accordance with regulatory requirements and Boeing policies.
• Ensures that scheduled maintenance program tasks and inspection limit criteria adhere to the highest levels of safety, compliance, and operational performance, while meeting production schedules and cost efficiencies.
