Job summary

Contour Airlines is seeking a Fleet Engineer for our Smyrna, TN base. You will analyze deficiencies, develop cost-effective corrective actions, and verify their effectiveness across the fleet.

Responsibilities include prioritizing safety and reliability, reviewing directives, and leading initiatives to cut delays and downtime while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience reading FAA regs and maintenance docs in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering responses to fleet performance, reliability and safety issues.
• Review and track prevention strategies and airworthiness directives.
• Reduce delays and aircraft downtime through corrective actions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve maintenance processes.
