Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Project Manager based in Kinston, NC to lead MRO projects from planning to close-out. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain schedules, budgets, and customer communications to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires FAA Part 145 understanding, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced aviation environment. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; FAA A&P certification required.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in aviation or MRO.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and FAA regulations.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, resources, and budgets.
• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with customers, providing status updates, timelines, and resolution of concerns.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Materials, Quality Assurance, Interiors, Paint, and Avionics departments to align project execution with customer expectations and organizational goals.
• Monitor day-to-day progress to ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and quality standards.
• Conduct progress meetings and address challenges with Crew Chiefs, Team Leads, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely availability of parts and equipment by coordinating with Materials and Procurement.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure FAA compliance and internal quality standards.
• Provide timely and accurate project documentation, including work scopes, budgets, and change orders.
• Lead customer-facing meetings to present updates and resolve issues.
