Job summary

JSX is hiring a Maintenance Base Manager to oversee the maintenance facility, lead the maintenance team, and ensure safety and compliance with FAA regulations. You will manage operations, coordinate work, and uphold OSHA standards while driving efficiency and readiness of aircraft.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with other bases, with a focus on safe, compliant, and timely maintenance execution.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license or equivalent; requires strong aviation maintenance knowledge.
• Bachelors degree preferred; Associates acceptable with relevant experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating inspections per FAA requirements.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, documents, and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections per FAA and GMM standards.
• Plan and coordinate the daily work schedule to minimize delays and ensure on-time aircraft delivery.
• Promote safety and OSHA compliance across the facility and trains staff.
• Manage materials flow and coordination with the Materials team for timely parts delivery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and related documentation.
