Job summary

JSX seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance following FAA regulations and manufacturer manuals, contributing to safe, efficient air travel and our operational excellence.

Responsibilities span pre- and post-flight inspections, detailed maintenance logging in Traxxall, and hangar upkeep. Flexibility for shifts and strict adherence to safety are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds.
• Ability to perform intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged standing.
• Available to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Participation in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with the DOT and FAA guidelines.
• Ability to operate forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, etc.
• Ability to taxi and engine run an airplane.
• Must procure own tool set.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Flight Inspections: Start your day by waking up the aircraft and performing thorough pre-flight checks.
• Post-Flight Inspections: Conduct detailed post-flight evaluations to identify issues.
• Maintenance Logging: Document all maintenance activities in Traxxall with proper sign-off.
• Hangar Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hangar environment.
