Job summary

StandardAero in Hillsboro, OH is seeking a skilled Machinist to machine aircraft parts to tight tolerances using CNC and traditional shop equipment. You will read blueprints, verify dimensions, and maintain quality through precise measurement and documentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or technical training.
• CNC or cylindrical grinder experience is an asset.
• Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings and instructions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to quality standards and production deadlines.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Machining aircraft parts to tight tolerances on manual/automatic lathes, mills, grinders and CNC machines.
• Fit and assemble components to close tolerances.
• Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain inspection records and complete reports.
• Contribute to miscellaneous projects as needed.
