StandardAero, Hillsboro, OH site, is seeking a machinist to machine aircraft parts to tight tolerances using a range of equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines. You will read complex drawings, assemble components, and verify dimensions with precision tools.

The role requires high school or technical training, plus CNC/grinder experience. Candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision and be willing to work overtime as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or technical training required.
• Experience with CNC machines or cylindrical grinders preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and blueprints.

Responsabilidades

• Machining aircraft parts to tight tolerances using manual/automatic lathes, mills, cylindrical grinder, drill presses, engine lathes, sawing machines, shapers and/or CNC machines.
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
• Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
• Miscellaneous projects on an as-needed basis.
