Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Logs & Records Clerk to manage aircraft logbooks, service records, and maintenance files in a CNAFINST 4790.2 environment. You will use OOMA, NALCOMIS, FAME, IMDS, CETADS, and CEMS to process data, generate reports, and ensure accuracy of weight, balance, and inventory data.

The role requires two years of aviation clerical experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have two (2) years of aviation clerical experience maintaining aircraft logbooks and records.
• High School diploma or equivalent; US Armed Forces Logs and Records training or 2 years of on-the-job training.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
• Experience with OOMA, NALCOMIS, FAME, IMDS, CETADS, CEMS is highly desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
• Must read/write/understand English and follow instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Utilize management information systems to maintain aircraft forms and records.
• Draft and submit Aircraft/Engine Management and Inventory Reporting System reports.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, yearly reports as assigned.
• Process readiness documents and verify aircraft utilization reports.
• Monitor aircraft configuration status, weight and balance, and inventory data for accuracy.
• Initiate and distribute maintenance forms per procedures.
• Assist in preparation of Monthly Maintenance Plan.
• Maintain log custody records and applicable directives.
