Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Logs & Records Supervisor to manage and sustain aircraft logs books, aeronautical records, and related files in a CNAFINST 4790.2 environment. You will handle reports, readiness documents, and data in several maintenance systems.

The role requires six years of aviation clerical experience with supervisory responsibility, plus familiarity with Navy/FAA logs. Shift flexibility, security clearance eligibility, and standard English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six years aviation clerical experience with supervisory/management responsibility preferred.
• Experience with US Navy and FAA logs is a plus.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and work any shift.
• Must read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft forms and records in the current MIS as required.
• Draft and submit aircraft/engine management reports on time.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly reports as assigned.
• Process readiness documents and verify utilization reports.
• Monitor weight, balance, and inventory data for accuracy.
• Distribute maintenance forms per procedures and assist in plans.
• Provide technical guidance and training as needed.
• Utilize OOMA, OMA, FAME, IMDS, CETADS and CEMS systems.
