Job summary

Broward County is seeking an Information Systems Manager to lead the Aviation Information Technology Applications Division. The role requires strong leadership, project management, and expertise in enterprise applications, security, and vendor coordination.

The position focuses on implementing and maintaining application systems to meet county needs while driving continuous improvement in IT services for aviation operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field.
• Four years in planning, managing and implementing information system solutions.
• Two years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Application Services Section of the IT Division in Broward County Aviation Department.
• Lead projects, collaborate with stakeholders, define scopes and deliverables.
• Monitor application performance, availability, and security; resolve issues.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contract oversight and performance evaluations.
• Participate in Change Control, Incident Response, DR/COOP and security remediation.
• Direct design, development and implementation of enterprise systems.
