Job summary

StandardAero in Maryville, TN is seeking a Planner/Buyer to manage inventory at the business-unit level, coordinate stores exchange pools, and purchase materials within established quality, quantity and price guidelines from manufacturers and distributors.

You will obtain quotes, negotiate delivery terms, and maintain data integrity in inventory systems, ensuring timely deliveries and alignment with service centers. Collaboration across teams supports cost efficiency and optimal stock levels.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent.
• 4+ years in planning and purchasing in aerospace preferred.
• 4+ years with ERP/MRP modules and Excel analytics; SAP/Oracle a plus.
• 4+ years working with BOM structures and procurement processes.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Balance inventory with cost, quality and delivery goals using ABC analysis.
• Plan purchases for assigned inventory based on forecasts and service center needs.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate delivery terms, and evaluate suppliers.
• Maintain data integrity in item master files and ERP systems.
• Coordinate returns and credits for damaged goods; resolve discrepancies.
