Job summary

StandardAero in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Production Planner to translate customer orders into a balanced, leveled production flow. You will monitor WIP, stage parts, and coordinate with operations to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of labor and equipment.

You’ll work with production, quality and management to keep schedules intact, improve processes, and ensure safety standards are followed in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in planning and/or scheduling.
• Ability to lift up to typical warehouse weight when needed.
• Experience with ERP databases and production management systems.

Responsibilities

• Review current WIP for various cell to provide daily schedule for OPS leaders.
• Review daily production schedule to properly move and stage parts for workflow efficiency for operations team.
• Stage parts.
• Ensure orders have the proper materials required.
• Review various reports on production progress, material delivery dates, and rates, using manual or computerized systems.
• Monitor movement of parts, supplies and material within and between cells to ensure on-schedule shipments and receipts.
• Collaborate with production, quality and management for smooth flow of production.
• Advise OPS leaders on status of work in progress, material availability and interruptions in the schedule.
• Identify and initiate improvements to production process flows.
• Observe safety requirements and report unsafe practices/conditions; carry out special projects.
