Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking an Internal Evaluation Program Auditor to lead day-to-day internal audits and support regulatory compliance across the Safety Management System. You will develop audit plans, conduct examinations of records, train staff, and ensure corrective actions are effective while coordinating with leadership and safety teams.

The role requires up-to-date aviation knowledge, strong technical writing, and the ability to travel up to 50% for program needs.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in an Aviation Safety-related field or 4+ years related experience in IEP, auditing, project management, technical writing, contingency planning, or curriculum development/facilitation.
  • 2+ years of 121 or 135 Aviation Experience.
  • 2+ years in project management, technical writing, and/or curriculum development.
  • Ability to audit and compare technical documents to FAA DCTs or other regulatory standards.
  • Must have/maintain passport or be cleared to travel internationally.
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings with all levels of leadership and business partners.
  • Experience delivering training/facilitating in front of large groups.
  • Strong self-organization and self-starting work ethic.
  • Willingness to travel up to ~50%.
  • Must obtain/maintain a SIDA badge per TSA requirements.
  • Authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Plan quality internal audits and prepare audit checklists and calendars.
  • Deliver quality audits by reviewing content, interviewing, and observing practices.
  • Document audit findings and generate reports; verify corrective actions.
  • Maintain checklists, schedule, and manual per audit requirements.
  • Conduct training for the IEP program (in person and/or remote).
  • Plan, organize, and maintain IEP schedules; assist in budgeting.
  • Resolve audit discrepancies with leadership; drive safety culture.
