Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Interior Cabinet Technician for the 2nd shift in East Alton, IL.

You will fabricate complex wood-surface subassemblies and cabinets for business aircraft, perform repairs, and assist with basic electrical work and modifications. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication in English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hangar environment with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related field is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, repair, and install interior cabinets.
• Perform removal and installation of cabinets and related components.
• Conduct basic electrical system installation and mechanical work.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling.
• Use computers to access training and maintenance data.
• Ensure shop cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate clearly in English with team.
• Assist in major modification work as needed.
