Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Interior Cabinet Technician to fabricate high-quality furniture and wood subassemblies for installation in world-class business aircraft.

The role involves cabinet removal/installation, modifications, repairs, and occasional basic electrical work under team leadership. Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in aviation or related fields, with strong mechanical skills, tool proficiency, and adherence to safety and FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine or related field.
• Ability to perform general mechanical functions on cabinets and related systems.
• Familiarity with basic electrical systems and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems (removal, installation, modification).
• Modify, re-laminate, veneer or fabricate new cabinets.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Keep daily turnover sheets and assist in modifications.
• Communicate effectively in English with team and supervisor.
• Follow FAA guidelines and safety rules in all duties.
