Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in DC within 60 days and Maryland licensure required
• BSN required or waiver with plan to achieve BSN within five years and approval of Chief Nurse Executive
• AACLS/PALS/NRP/STABLE and other critical care certifications may be required depending on unit

Responsibilities

• Delivers expert nursing care in helicopter and ambulance transport to diverse patient types
• Assesses patient needs, prioritizes care, and delegates tasks to peers and staff
• Operates airway management, monitoring, IV access, and critical care devices during transport
• Maintains safety, regulatory readiness, and proper documentation during and after transports
• Performs routine unit readiness, supply management, and unit committee participation
