Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking an HR Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and industry requirements. You will guide HR, Payroll, HRIS, and Legal on compliance matters in a highly regulated aviation environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with audits, and the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable guidance for stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Labor Relations, Legal Studies, or related field.
• 2+ years of progressive HR, HR compliance, compensation, payroll, or related experience preferred.
• Experience working across multiple states or jurisdictions.
• Experience with HRIS implementation, testing, or configuration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Maintain compliance trackers.
• Research regulatory changes.
• Perform routine compliance audits.
• Prepare compliance reports.
• Update documentation and procedures.
• Support wage/hour and minimum wage compliance.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, HRIS, and Legal on compliance activities.
