Hillsboro Aviation, based at KHIO, seeks a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to service our fleet of aircraft support vehicles and heavy equipment. The role blends shop work in winter with field support missions in summer across the western US.

You will diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, air, and diesel systems, work with Peterbilt/Kenworth/Ram trailers, and maintain a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. CDL required; team-oriented, independent work style preferred.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with tank, hazmat, trailer, airbrakes and manual transmission endorsements.
• Willingness to obtain missing endorsements with employer support.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, air, and diesel systems and components.
• Work with Peterbilt, Kenworth, Ram, trailers, and other equipment as assigned.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently to meet the company’s needs.
