Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services seeks a GSE Mechanic I at SEA Airport to repair and maintain ground support equipment, including tugs, belt loaders and pushbacks. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and documentation of work performed.

Required are 1–2 years of experience, tool ownership, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a Tuesday–Saturday 1:00pm–9:00pm schedule with flexibility for nights/weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1–2 years of verified experience required.
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).
• Airlines are 24/7, so availability for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air.
• Inspect, Maintain, Troubleshoot, Replace, Repair, or Modify engines and transmissions.
• Check and adjust tolerance of valves, bearings, cams, clutches and drive shafts.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals.
• Operate and test ground equipment for performance assessment.
• Complete associated paperwork and track parts.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
