Qualifications

• 3 years of verified experience required.
• Must provide own tools and toolbox.
• Able to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Credentials (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain motorized and non-motorized Ground Service Equipment (GSE) such as tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, trucks.
• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air.
• Log equipment numbers and write work descriptions for each piece.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, repair, or modify engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, undercarriages, wheels and tires.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals; operate and test ground equipment for performance.
